She is an NRI, based in Edmonton, Alberta; Canada currently works with the Federal Government. She had been involved in Film distribution in Delhi and has keen interest in art and culture
Just to be aware about the social problem people and the people who make opinion and make difference in their respective society she has adopted the way of documentary films and producing many documentaries on different social problems. Right now She is Co-Chairperson for the Visible Minority Sub-Committee,
Despite living in Canada she has always kept in touch with India and Indian problems and always extended help to Indian Government in the time of natural disaster and other social problems through International NGO'S. Recently she has been involved in fund raising for the victims of Kashmir earthquake in India at workplace through Visible Minority Sub-Committee, United Way and Council of India, Edmonton.
From 2001 till date every year she have been nominated for 'Award of Excellence' from Federal Government for being involved in Employment Equity Activities. From 2001 she has also received Federal Government recognition of “Women Making a Difference in the Federal Government”
